The collaboration with VENI Metering started in March 2023 with Hantverkslokaler's largest property in Fabriken in Jonsered. This industrial plant dating from the 1830s currently houses around 70 different tenants. All electricity meters were previously read manually every month, which in itself was both time-consuming and financially unsustainable.
New remotely read electricity meters were installed, and all tenants are registered in the new system. Technical manager at Hantverkslokaler describes his experiences:
"We spent a lot of time reading and billing the electricity to our tenants, as well as answering questions about the electricity. The solution from VENI has freed up a lot of time, relieved headaches and dealt with the liquidity problem caused by unpaid claims. The tenants receive a clear and proper invoice and address all questions directly to VENI. Today, VENI provides a sustainable solution for all parties."
Since the project Fabriken in Jonsered started, the collaboration has evolved and VENI Metering now manages a further six of Hantverkslokaler's properties.
